Week One Reflection
My one month health plan consists of only a few things that I think would be beneficial to me mentally. It starts out with working out for 3 days, then a one mile run around my neighborhood a week, and solving a rubik’s cube and recording my best time daily. The first week of doing my health plan was kind of difficult to see if I would stick to it. I started out the week sick so I didn’t do the physical portion of my health plan for the first week. I have been solving the rubiks cube portion though and I have been improving my time day by day. I was very physically inactive all week and I would sit around all day all week.
Week 2 Reflection
I started this week pretty active at work I ran up and down a flight of stairs 20 times in a row so I felt like I worked out a little. Didn’t do any mental or memorizing Wednesday but, I got under 3 minutes in my solving time of a rubiks cube. Thursday I Worked out finally, took about a week but it felt good to be physically active after so long. My rubiks cube time continuously goes down day. Friday I didn’t work out but, my Solve time did improve. Saturday and Sunday I was not very active and just sat on a couch pretty much all day. Saturday I did not practice rubiks cube.
Reflection Week 3
Week three started off stressful and I was done with school and didn’t want to do anything. Wednesday was boring and I didn’t do any physical activity, but I did get my third best time that week solving my rubiks cube. I did do the meditation and memorization which I seem to be getting better at. Thursday started out boring and I didn’t do anything but sit on my butt all day. I got the second best time that day solving rubiks cube and I did work out that day which did feel good. I practiced my memorize and do meditation that day which was also nice and lower my stress. Saturday and Sunday I was very active and I played gaga (dodgeball essentially) for a good 2 hours. I spent very little time sitting and I was very relaxed the whole weekend. Friday I also got my best time on the rubiks cube which is exiting. Monday and Tuesday I took it easy and slept pretty much all day. The week in general went stressful to relaxed.
Week 4 Reflection
Week four was a very non active week for me starting in the middle of break. Wednesday I the only exercise I got was when me and my sister walked around the mall for two hours looking for a chanuka gift. I also didn’t practice rubiks cube that day but I was relaxed the whole time and slept most the day off. Thursday was thanksgiving so I didn’t do much besides eat a thanksgiving feast. I didn’t practice anything that day too, but I was relaxed the whole day. Friday I didn’t do much but put up lights and some chores, but nothing I can consider beneficial. I did start practicing again and my time back tracked by 15 seconds which I thought would happen if I didn’t practice for 5 days. Saturday I sat around and went to a chanuka party and was up all night with some friends. I only got two hours of sleep between saturday and sunday but still progressed in solve time with rubiks cube. Did homework most Sunday and slept the rest of it away. Monday I was still recovering from Saturday/Sunday and slept about twelve hours. Tuesday I worked out again and It felt good after so long and my rubiks cube time went down by 5 seconds.
